Lack of Will is just another term for "we don't know who we are anymore". We don't have the will to push forward because we have lost our identity and culture. If we can win this culture war against NeoMarxism and NeoLenism then we can enter a golden age, otherwise it's a new dark age for the West and European society

I think it may be because Jordanians who work in the gulf send money back to their families

Really good map, one thing seems off to me though.
I'm not sure why Jordan is in the dependent on oil category. They have almost no oil reserves and the gas prices in the country are really expensive. I could see the "shouldn't exist" category making more sense since there was no Jordanian identity until the British divided the area into Transjordan after Sykes-Picot.

Is the "Countries shouldn't really" issue with the Malay Archipelago the same issue as the one in Africa, where the countries' borders are artificial and make no sense? How does that affect, say Indonesia, from becoming a bigger power?

I disagree. You can't ignore hundreds of years of tradition just so borders match what we want. Honestly, I'm totally for letting people groups redraw Africa to meet cultural and political desires. The major problem with that is the UN would need to nut up and actively keep warlords from taking power.

Hard times and rising external threats?

"Countries shouldn't really" exist could also be called "haven't politically advanced from the tribal structure"
