By default, AirDrop, Handoff, and Continuity donโt work on Intel Wi-Fi modules in Hackintosh setups. To enable these features, youโll need a compatible Wi-Fi & Bluetooth moduleโalong with proper patching.
Intel Wi-Fi lacks Appleโs proprietary functionality, meaning you wonโt get:
โ AirDrop โ Canโt send files between Apple devices
โ Handoff โ No seamless app switching between Mac & iPhone
โ Continuity, Sidecar ...
To restore AirDrop and full macOS wireless functionality, replace your Wi-Fi card with a supported module and apply the necessary patches.
๐ป For Laptops:
โ BCM94352HMB (DW1550) โ mPCIe
โ BCM94360NG or BCM94352Z (DW1560) โ M.2 NGFF
๐ฅ For Desktops:
โ Fenvi T-919 or Fenvi HB-1200 โ PCIe
โ All modules require patching in macOS Sonoma & Sequoia to work correctly.
