Ahh okokay, yes I figured that was it. I understand the rest im just struggling to select the whole thing on the layer. I click ctrl/ shift / and the shapes layer i don't get the ant line or my thumbnail is occupied by the brush tool icon. After hours would this still give you the same result even though its longer ctrl+A to ctrl + T then hit Enter to select figure?

2023-04-22 02:49:06 +0000 UTCof course! it's a bit messy to write but you have to create a new layer with your shape drawn in black. after doing it, ctrl+shift+click the layer's thumbnail and it'll select the parts you've drawn there. Selection > Increment, increase selection as many times as the thickness you'd like the outline to have. new layer, put it underneath the one you've drawn on, fill selection with black. then color the shape you've drawn before in white (#ffffff has to be pure white). Merge layers; it will look like your shape + the outline in black. Go to Layer > Luminance to Transparency and the white will go away!
