Asahi stared at the city. Inves and Nomu descended upon Yokohama, transforming it into a battleground. Screams filled the air as civilians fled in terror, scrambling to escape the grotesque figures tearing through buildings and vehicles.

Pro Heroes arrived, a beacon of hope amidst the destruction. Even Endeavor, the Flame Hero, stood tall against the chaos, his figure wreathed in blazing fire.

"Burn them to ash!" Endeavor commanded his agency heroes, his voice booming. "Keep the civilians safe! No unnecessary risks!"

His sidekicks, Burnin, Kido, and Onima, charged into the fray. Burnin unleashed torrents of flame, incinerating the smaller Inves, while Kido and Onima used their Quirks to restrain the larger Nomu. Endeavor focused on the larger Inves. He moved with a speed that belied his size, his fists wreathed in flames as he delivered punishing blows. One Inves, resembling a grotesque stag, charged him. Endeavor sidestepped the attack, grabbing its antlers and blasting it with a point-blank Prominence Burn. The Inves dissolved into cinders.

Asahi's focus snapped back to reality as Mt. Lady’s hand landed on his shoulder. "Asahi, I need you to focus on helping the civilians," she said, her voice serious. "Get the injured to safety and heal them. That's what you can do right now."

He nodded, his resolve hardening. He was no Kamen Rider. But he could still be a hero.

"I'm counting on you," Mt. Lady stated firmly.

With a determined breath, Yu turned towards the carnage, her eyes blazing with resolve. "Gigantification!" she roared, and in a flash of light, she towered over the battlefield. Mt. Lady stomped on the Inves. Her colossal form became a focal point, drawing the attention of the monsters away from the fleeing civilians.

Asahi turned away from the battle and focused. The cries of the injured were his call to action. He raced towards a group huddled near a collapsed building. A young woman clutched her arm, her face contorted in pain.

"I can help you," Asahi said, kneeling beside her. "I have a healing Quirk."

He gently placed his hand on her arm. A soft, green glow emanated from his touch, and the woman gasped as the pain subsided. The gash on her arm began to knit itself back together.

"Thank you," she whispered, tears welling in her eyes. "Thank you so much."

Asahi moved from person to person, his hands glowing as he mended broken bones, eased burns, and soothed lacerations. He focused, pushing his Quirk to its limits, drawing strength from the gratitude in the eyes of those he helped. But with each person he healed, his own energy waned.

He saw Mt. Lady battling a hulking Nomu, her massive form crashing through buildings as she struggled to contain it. Pro Heroes fought valiantly, but the sheer number of Inves and Nomu threatened to overwhelm them.

If only I could do more, he thought, frustration building within him. His healing Quirk could only do so much. He wanted to stand alongside Mt. Lady, to fight alongside the heroes, to protect this city.

Thanks to Mt. Lady drawing a lot of the beasts towards her, plus Endeavor’s efforts, many of the smaller creatures fell before the heroes. Still, some of the more resilient specimens continued to be a threat. Endeavor continued to burn down elementary Inves and the weaker Nomu with ease, turning them into charred husks. But among the horde, one creature caught his eye.

This monster was unique. Unlike the others, it resembled a boar. It stood on two legs, its muscular frame covered in thick, brown hide, with jagged tusk-like protrusions lining its forearms and shoulders. A pig-like snout jutted from its face, complete with curved tusks and beady red eyes that reflected a savage intelligence. Dark gray plating covered parts of its body, adding to its sturdy build.

That thing looks durable, Endeavor thought.

He focused his attention on the boar-like monster, determined to take it down quickly. He channeled his flames, creating a searing inferno around his fists. "Time to roast some pork!"

With a burst of speed, he lunged forward, unleashing a Flashfire Fist aimed directly at the monster's chest. He expected the creature to burn like the others. Instead, the boar-like Inves lowered its head and charged straight through the flames.

"What?!" Endeavor said.

The monster slammed into him with incredible force, sending the No. 1 hero flying backward. He crashed into a nearby building, rubble raining down around him. The collision winded him. He staggered to his feet, his eyes wide with disbelief.

His sidekicks saw the surprise attack and rushed to their boss's aid. Burnin launched a volley of fireballs. Kido and Onima moved to flank the monster, preparing to restrain it. But the Inoshishi Inves, unfazed, met them head-on.

With a powerful swipe of its tusked arm, it knocked Burnin's fireballs aside. Before Kido could react, the beast charged, slamming into him with its shoulder. Kido flew backward, crashing into a parked car. Onima fared no better. He attempted to grapple the monster, but it shrugged him off with ease, sending him sprawling with a swift kick.

Endeavor watched, frustration building. This monster was different. It was stronger, faster, and far more resilient than anything he had faced so far. This wasn’t just some random monster. This thing was dangerous.

The Inoshishi, ignoring the downed heroes, roared, ready to renew its assault. But before it could move, a colossal shadow fell over it. Mt. Lady, recovered from her previous scuffle, stomped down with her full weight.

"Did you really think that would work?" Mt. Lady shouted, glancing towards the recovering No. 2 hero. "You okay, Endeavor?"

Endeavor, dusting off his costume, scoffed. "Of course! That little thing was no trouble at all. Just a momentary… setback." His voice was a little strained, a testament to the force of the impact.

Mt. Lady felt a strange movement beneath her foot. She glanced down and saw the Inoshishi, its beady red eyes glowing with fury, straining against her weight. It was lifting her foot.

With a surge of power, the Inoshishi shoved Mt. Lady's foot to the side, throwing her off balance. Then, with another surge of strength, it rammed its tusked snout into her other foot.

"Ouch! I think I heard a crack!" Mt. Lady cried, clutching her injured foot.

The Inoshishi roared, a guttural sound that echoed through the ruined streets. A wave of dark energy emanated from its body, and it began to change. It grew larger, its muscles bulging, its frame expanding. The brown hide turned a fiery red, and flames erupted along its spine, forming a mane of burning fur. Its tusks grew massive, curving upwards like scythes.

The transformation complete, the Inoshishi stood as a monstrous boar wreathed in fire, its presence radiating raw power.

The surrounding Pro Heroes felt the shift. The atmosphere had grown heavier, more oppressive. This was no longer a simple cleanup operation. This had turned into a crisis.

The evolved Inoshishi lowered its head and charged. The Pro Heroes scattered, barely managing to dodge its path as it tore through the city.

The monster crashed through multiple buildings, leaving gaping holes in its wake. Civilians screamed, their panic amplified as they watched the fiery boar obliterate everything in its path.

Burnin cried, "If it keeps doing that, the damage is just going to spread. This is bad."

Endeavor grimaced, feeling the weight of responsibility pressing down on him. He knew the public’s eyes were on him. This thing was different than the Nomu and Inves. “Damn it, how am I going to stop this thing?”

Amidst the chaos, Asahi watched, his heart pounding in his chest. He clenched his fists, his gaze fixed on the destruction. His healing Quirk was useless against this level of devastation. He wanted to do something. He needed to do something.

His hand instinctively reached inside his jacket. His fingers closed around the cool, smooth surface of the Mach Driver. He pulled it out, his eyes fixed on the device. Should he? Could he?

”You will last 90 seconds in intense combat.”

He glanced back at the injured civilians, their faces etched with fear. He looked at Mt. Lady, struggling to stand on her injured foot. He thought about his friends, his family, everyone in this city.

He stared at the Mach Driver, his expression conflicted. It was a risk, a dangerous one. But could he stand by and watch as this monster tore everything apart? The decision weighed heavily on him.
