Build Gundams Ch 19

Over the following days, a systematic collection of all salvageable materials within the abandoned space transfer station was conducted.

On the initial day, all surrendered firearms from the Sea Wolf Pirates were carefully packed into six modified spaceships. Subsequently, two escort vessels were assigned to ensure their safe transport back to base.

The majority of the confiscated Mobile Suits underwent a process of dismantling, with all usable components retained as spare parts. A limited number of Mobile Suits were identified as potentially repairable, with the intention of offering them for sale to organizations with established needs.

The second day was dedicated to loading various resources and energy supplies onto the modified spaceships. However, the extensive volume of these materials necessitated a two-day effort, and even with the deployment of the remaining twenty modified spaceships and escort vessels, the capacity was insufficient to accommodate the entire stockpile.

Observing this situation, Ryuuichi commented, "The scale of resources accumulated by a long-standing pirate organization is indeed remarkable. It would appear that engaging a few more of these established groups could prove quite lucrative. The financial returns from legitimate business operations often pale in comparison to those realized by these illicit activities."

Ultimately, Ryuuichi contacted the base to request the dispatch of additional transport ships to facilitate the relocation of the remaining goods.

On the fifth day, Tarou Sayama, bearing the visible marks of his ordeal, knelt on the ground. Flanking him were his Vice Captain and other key members of the pirate organization.

Standing on the overhead walkway, Ryuuichi, with a composed expression, signaled for their execution.

A contingent of Antares Mercenaries raised their rifles and carried out the order, eliminating Tarou Sayama and his associates. Following the initial volley, the execution team approached the fallen figures and administered a final shot to the head and heart of each individual.

The bodies were then transported to a nearby incinerator for cremation.

Standing alongside Ryuuichi, Captain Feikesi reported, "Sir, all of Tarou Sayama’s assets have been successfully transferred, and all procedures have been executed in accordance with your directives."

"Very well. Your efforts are appreciated."

"It is no burden, sir. The members are grateful for your decision to share the spoils of this operation."

"Those who risk their lives in my service will not be treated unfairly. I will utilize the talents of those who possess them, reward those who demonstrate merit, and administer appropriate consequences for those who err. Skywing's policies are straightforward." Ryuuichi concluded before departing the area.

"Sir, where are you headed? Is there anything else we can assist you with?"

"Nothing further. Continue with your assigned tasks. I will be returning to the main ship to conduct research on the captured Ghost Night MS. The intelligence extracted from Tarou Sayama indicates that this MS was developed by an organization known as Amaterasu. I intend to examine the specific attributes that allowed this MS to nearly overcome one of my Gundams."

"Overcome?" Captain Feikesi inquired, unfamiliar with the term. As he watched his superior depart, he turned to his colleagues with a questioning glance.

The others exchanged puzzled looks, none possessing an understanding of the term Ryuuichi had used.

Feikesi suddenly recalled a pending matter, realizing that he had neglected to ask about the disposition of the remaining Sea Wolf Pirates, who were currently detained aboard three modified spaceships.

The Ghost Night MS had already been disassembled by the maintenance crew for research purposes.

Upon arriving at the hangar, Ryuuichi was met by Maintenance Chief Obis.

"Sir, the MS was dismantled yesterday. We are currently in the process of analyzing it. Here is our preliminary research report."

Ryuuichi accepted the tablet and began reviewing the provided data.

"Their Operating System is quite sophisticated."

"While advanced, it does not quite reach the level of the OS you developed, sir. Their system requires individual adjustments for each MS Pilot, unlike your recently developed system. The MS Pilot simply needs to engage in a simulated battle, and the system automatically generates technical data tailored to that pilot. The MS Pilot then records this data onto a dedicated chip, which is inserted into the cockpit of the MS they are piloting. As the MS Pilot's skills progress, the technical data automatically upgrades, thereby enhancing the pilot's combat capabilities," Obis explained with enthusiasm. He held a deep admiration for Ryuuichi, who, despite his youth, had managed to develop so many groundbreaking technologies.

In reality, this OS technology was derived from Ryuuichi's knowledge of various science fiction novels from his previous life. After researching the control system software programs of this world, he disassembled and recompiled various Gundam OS software programs, ultimately creating this unique OS.

"I have named this OS AOTOS, which is short for Automatically Orchestrate The Operating System. It represents the culmination of many years of research."

Obis immediately expressed his approval with a thumbs up.

The AOTOS Automatic Programming System had been implemented approximately one month prior and had received overwhelmingly positive feedback from all MS Pilots. However, this technology was exclusively utilized by Antares Mercenaries. The GM MS sold to external entities were equipped with the previous operating system.

Ryuuichi had no intention of selling this technology. Even if someone were to discover it in the future and offer a substantial sum for its acquisition, he would refuse.

Ryuuichi examined each component of the Ghost Night, which was suspended by robotic arms. He carefully scrutinized each hardware element following the removal of its armor.

"The hardware technology utilized in this MS appears to be comparable to that of a Gundam."

"That is correct, sir. However, its armor does not provide the same level of protection as our Gundam's armor. It is inferior in both quality and quantity compared to Gundanium Alloy."

"In what way?"

"For a given volume, this MS’s armor is approximately 20 percent heavier than Gundanium Alloy. The overall weight of the MS already exceeds 90 tons."

"Although weight is not a factor in space, mass remains. I am interested in determining what type of power unit this MS employs to achieve an output comparable to a Gundam. When its special ability is activated, its output even surpasses that of a Gundam."

"We are currently in the process of dismantling the fuselage."

A repairman approached Ryuuichi and Obis, holding a palm-sized device.

"Sir, Maintenance Chief, we discovered this during the disassembly process."

Ryuuichi took the device and examined it. "This is a positioning device. It appears that the Amaterasu organization does not fully trust the Pirate Group leader."

"Sir, what are your instructions regarding this positioning device?" Obis inquired.

"Attempt to reverse-locate and track them."

"Understood, sir. We will attempt it, but we cannot guarantee success."

Obis accepted the positioning device.

"Simply attempt it. If it proves unsuccessful, then destroy the device."

"Sir, come and examine this! We have discovered a remarkable power unit!"

A repairman gestured and called out to the assembled personnel.
