Informations about current progress on AGLSv1.6 (17.10.2025)

In this message, Iβd like to give an update on the current status of AGLS v1.6.
In my previous post, I mentioned that I was aiming to release the update between October 15th and 17th. Unfortunately, I wasnβt able to finish everything by that deadline π. Because of this, Iβll need a bit more time to polish all the elements.
AI is a fairly complex topic, and the number of dependencies I wanted to take into account ended up exceeding my current capabilities. Nonetheless, Iβm still actively working on a new, improved controller for HumanAI. I believe the core StateTree logic, along with all related ST_Tasks, is nearly complete.
What remains is mainly finishing the reaction to damage when the AI is unaware of the threat, as well as a reaction to being pushed by another character. I would like to test everything in terms of optimization, and rewrite some parts of the Blueprint scripts in C++.
After that, I still need to verify that I havenβt accidentally broken any logic related to CompanionAI π€.
One important point Iβd like to highlight is that the new AI controller is not designed to handle a large number of instances at once. This is mainly due to the complexity of the code and my overall design approach to the new AI system.
In summary, I wonβt be able to meet the previously stated deadline.
However, I believe that a release date around October 24β26 should be possible to reach.
The second important topic I want to address is a potential price change for the AGLS project subscription.
For now, AGLS v1.6 will be available at the current price, with no changes. However, starting with either v1.7 or the next calendar month, this may change. At this point, it's just an early notice β any actual change would likely be minor (possibly from $12 to $15). Iβll keep you informed about this in the future.
Hopefully, this wonβt have much impact on the continued support on Patreon.

Hi, Im waiting 1.6 version for agls. You said it would be released on October 27-28, but I can't see it. Where can I download it? Can you help me?

AGLS is a fantastic package for anyone looking to build and experiment with games design. Because I'm generally thick and need things explained to me like im a five year old, I would much prefer to build all this myself from scratch, simply so I understand all of it better. But thank you for your hard work all the same.
