This one was different than what I'm used to hearing from you but a fascinatijng listen as usual. I wish I had your gift to enetertain and inform people without musix and SFX, Your style is hypnotic. I don't have that gift so my show is full of SFX and music. I'm proud of it but I want to be you when I grow up. Thanks foro what you do!

I've listened to a lot of your stuff on multi-day solo backpacking trips, and when I re-listen to older episodes it takes me right back to where I was. Death Throes of the Republic is Torres del Paine in Chile, A Fly on James Burke’s Wall is Denali National Park, etc. Thanks for everything you've done. It's changed my life! Also, I'm not sure what you're up to now, but if you ever feel like giving your personal take on the Spanish conquest of the Americas, I would love that!

I really want to contribute what I can, but it's seriously confusing trying to figure out whether my contribution is per post, per release, per release + a designated number of posts. When I try to select "release" it takes me to a payment page that says I am paying per post. Not Dan's fault I'm sure, but Patreon isn't doing him any favors with this confusing setup.
