For the most part. Also, it's good advice regardless of what side the murder job is on. But there are times when it's really not helpful.
For example, if you're going to a job interview, and on the way you happen to witness a murder, and then you get to the job interview, and they switch the job on you to tracking down that murderer, somebody's probably going to be trying to kill you regardless of your decision, you might as well get paid for it.
