Patreon Fees Update: Good News!
Added 2017-12-13 20:47:30 +0000 UTCIf you haven't heard, they thankfully decided to NOT roll out their planned fee changes and are working on figuring out what they'll do instead. So for now, everything will stay the same.
I'm glad they listened, and I'm happy to hear everyone won't suddenly be charged more. I'm glad that I can continue telling people they can support as low as $1 and mean it.
That said, they still lost my trust, and this doesn't undo the damage their reckless announcement caused. I'm still going to be on the lookout for alternatives.
I don't know what their new plan will end up being, and I remain cautious, but in the meantime thank you to everyone who spoke out. Our voices were heard, and they couldn't ignore it. Thank you.

Added bonus: These morons wiped my pledge history, so out of the 20+ pledges I cancelled with this card fee scam, around half won't be renewed until I have an opportunity to interact with the project/artist in some way.Case in point: without your notice I would have not renewed my pledge to you. So yeah really looking forward for an alternative.
