Heyyy, do you like T-Shirts??

If there's any two things that Basketball, She Wrote is known for, it's basketball (of course) and popsicles (because, why not?). As some of you may recall, when I launched Basketball, She Wrote in February of 2023, there was a short-form article available for all the games I missed while I was (well) out of the game, along with a popsicle recipe. Since then, every patron-only mailbag, whether in written or video form, has also featured a popsicle of the month or some other fun popsicle surprise in relation to basketball as a way for me to share more of myself with all of you, as both my readers and supporters.
Recently, my No. 1 supporter, also known as my sister who wishes to remain anonymous, treated me to this rendering of my favorite treat.

Without going into too much detail, after the playoffs ended, we both had a fairly rough offseason, as a loved one of ours had to undergo an emergency heart procedure. My sister has never loved basketball the way I do, but she loves me and my love for the game, and her talent for art plays a big part in making this tiny corner of the internet possible. She said water-color painting is cathartic for her and that creating this for me made her happy. As such, after a summer of very high highs and also a few very low lows for the Pacers, I decided that maybe we could all use some catharsis, with this design also perhaps bringing some happiness in the form of a T-shirt for this upcoming Pacers season.

After all, popsicle season (as it relates to summer) might be over, but popsicle season with a coat on (and as it relates to basketball) is just getting started.

Also, according to some (or at least one particular someone), despite the fact that this team advanced to back-to-back Eastern Conference Finals with a 31-year-old All-Star who has previously won an NBA Championship, the Pacers are apparently "young" and "hungry."

To be fair, that might apply more now, in a season without Tyrese Haliburton, than in relation to what the Pacers just accomplished, but the obvious takeaway is that anyone, regardless of age or level of success, can be "young" and "hungry." And that includes you, when you wear this quintessential shirt, not only representing the Basketball, She Wrote brand and all that it stands for (basketball! popsicles!), but also soaking up the endless summer vibes of whatever this season brings -- embracing your youth, as well as the youths of this team.

So, for everyone who is "young and hungry" or in search of catharsis as supplied by my sister, here is the link to the Basketball, She Wrote shop at Teepublic, where all designs are sold.
Enjoy!
