Shake Shack
I’ve mentioned Shake Shack a few times on the channel. Their burgers are super delicious and their fries are on point. On my birthday and New York anniversary (the day I moved to NY), I always celebrate with a Shack burger, strawberry shake, and fries. I’m a big fan of their brand and I love their history. Shake Shack is near and dear to me.
Also, fun fact: the Shake Shack logo was done as pro bono. Last I checked, the company is now worth about $2 billion.
BUT… not all Shake Shacks are created equal.
The Good
The original one is at Madison Square Park. On a beautiful day, I highly recommend eating there. It’s outdoors with Edison lights surrounded with the perfect mix of city and park. (See photo)
Another great Shake Shack is the one at Battery Park City. Go watch a movie at the Regal Battery Park. It really is regal. And have a regal burger at the Shake Shack next to it.
The Bad
Not really “bad”, but I would avoid the Shake Shack on 44th St & 8th Ave, and the one at Fulton station. These are just too crowded and cramped. Your burger is fine, but the atmosphere just ruins the experience.
The Ugly
Avoid the one at Grand Central at all costs. They shred the lettuce. 😱
