This morning, added this diagram to all scale detail pages. More coming soon.
hey, the name "Soul Pentatonic" isn't in my collection. Is that a name you coined, and/or is it documented anywhere? I'd like to add it, but I want to add it the correct way, with proper attribution and provenance.

Tricky! But certainly not impossible. Iβll need to experiment with UI design for something like that
Inputs:
- add/remove strings (default: 6)
- set number of frets (default: 10?)
- set pitch of each string (default: standard guitar in E)
Output:
- display a βguitar neckβ diagram
Useful for banjo, ukelele, etc.

This addiiton is SO awesome. I would kill for a guitar one, and possible instrument search with (number of strings) options. Or, let us set it up how we wish. This would apply for exotic instruments like the Guitarron Chileno, or the Viola de Terceira, for example.

There are two spots: D and Ab. If you go only white keys up step by step and the same amount steps down, you'll finally get D Dorian. The same is true with black keys, but the scale is then an Ab Suspended Pentatonic, which I call Soul Pentatonic (for many reasons). So, both are symmetrical horizontally.
