Unfair Fun fair

'No kids under 110 cm (3.6 feet) can get on this ride.'
This one sentence ruined Ash and Serena's whole day.
Serena had been slowly shrinking for a while but Ash thought that if they both carried on their life like normal then Serena wouldn't feel so bad about her situation.
So Ash put on his biggest smile and asked Serena out on a date to a nearby fun fair!
The two hadn't fully considered how different life would be at this size. Serena felt so embarrased walking at Ash's side, she was so small now that she could barely keep up. She felt like a kid, she was certainly the height of one and it didn't help that the only outfit that was available to her wasn't exactly her most mature one.
Ash did his best to reassure Serena that no one thought she was a kid. But as they reached the end of the line to the 'Space Coaster Jr!' ride. The attendant unsympatheitcally let her know just how small she was, even for this childrens roller coaster. Much to the amusment of the the little kid behind them, though compared to Serena he wasn't little at all.
'B- but she was tall enough before we left home...' Ash attempted to reason.
The attendant just gave the pair a raised eyebrow.
'Can we just go please?' Serena muttered as the two scurried off.
