There was also no anxiety like she expected from staying in a palace full of demons. She was prepared by demon maids and was told that Nedrie was waiting in the breakfast room. So she went.
When she went down the hall, she noticed that she didn’t feel scared or like a mouse in a den of lions anymore. Eventually she got to the breakfast room and Nedrie was reading newspapers. Eventually, she asked why the hell he bit tf outta her, and he explains.
Tldr, he is a snake. A venomous one. His clan is physically not impressive, but their poison is off the charts. Their thing is that they develop many types of poison, and they synthesize it in their bodies. And while Nedrie is fully capable of doing that, he took a peculiar turn away from his fellow snake demons and found ways to turn his venom into helpful ways to cure people (mostly humans). He expressed interest in wanting to stay in Fortane and conduct long-term studies w his new type of venom, but he also told Celestria of the demon culture. One who is weaker cannot ask for something of a stronger demon. So he can’t ask Lord to stay in Fortane. That’s something Lord has to ask. And so, with that, Celestria got to thinking.
She excused herself cos according to human culture, she had to thank the owner of the house she stayed in overnight. What will she do now? I dunno lol.
