More MigI face studies
Added 2023-06-29 16:11:22 +0000 UTCI can’t believe how quickly I did the first face, esp cos it’s so expressive? I struggle with extreme expressions but bc it’s Miguel, I had to do what I had to do. For my husband!

OOOH this really IS expressive!! augh what good faces these are!! The shine of his eyes breaking through shadow, both rows of teeth showing mid-speech in an outrage, the TENSION of his jaw and neck! And then the bottom expression, so soft <3 like a kitten <3 The beginnings of a frustrated snarl or like he's saying "tch", I really love the hair shapes in the profile view too, I wish I could touch them (But at least that honour goes to his wife and Peter) And the way the shadows are rendered on his temples, cheekbones and the rest of his face, DIVINE.
