I went grocery shopping. The price of ground beef was horseshit. I got ice cream sandwiches, however. Anyway, I made spaghetti and meat sauce the way Peach likes it (with the help of Sally Mae, but I must say that it was very minimal help). I called and asked if he was coming home for dinner today. He sounded surprised, but said it would have been easier to simply get something to eat. So I said I would drop off some of the food I made for him. He could not believe I made food. Rude. Well it tastes amazing, that much is guaranteed. He actually looked forward to seeing if it did.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to the campus. Many things have changed. I met Peach in front of his building. It was actually quite nostalgic. I used to come and drag him away to lunch after basketball in our undergraduate days. He would always jokingly complain when I did, that little workaholic. It’s funny, more than ten years later and I don’t feel like I could do that anymore. Anyway, I refused to leave till I saw him see my food at the very least, and this little… he was surprised that it smelled good! I know my culinary track record is questionable at best, but come now, of course it would smell good at least! oh yes, I met his colleague. A lovely lady called Sky Young, I believe. I will admit, I felt oddly proud being introduced as his husband. When was the last time that happened? Introductions of the sort, I mean. We couldn't go out much these past few years, so it has been a very long time. It was oddly chilly outside, so I didn’t want to keep him long. It's April, why in the world was it chilly?

Speaking of chilly, I felt like a face mask would be good today. It’s been a while since I did, so I put that on and watched more of my telenovela. It’s getting good, Anastasia’s pregnancy cannot be hidden anymore, and considering the father is not her husband, I’m looking forward to what she will say.

That sly woman. Anastasia said that her pregnancy was no doubt her husband’s even though he cannot have children, and somehow she got him to believe it? Come now, Miguel. You know well and good what your wife is doing. What powerful denial.
