Hey! Hope you guys have had a great week! HAPPY FRIDAY! 💕 here is early access to Sundays video! And I’d really love to get your input on it. It’s a bit different! And it feel a bit insecure about it! I’ve got a quite a few watches in that I really need to review 🤣 BUT I JUST CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT THE PHILLIPS AUCTION FRANKENSTEIN WATCH! 🤣🤣🤣 I know it’s an older story! I had decided I wasn’t going to make a video about it. But I just can’t stop thinking about it! Haha. So I thought “SCREW IT!! IM MAKING A VIDEO”.
This is me overthinking auction houses, fake watches and authenticating vintage watches! Has anyone else been absolutely obsessed with this omega story?! It’s like watch fams Oceans 11! 🤣
Anyways! It’s back to watch reviews next week! I’ve got a state of the collection AAAAAND a Doxa Sub300!

TL/DR - Omega and the aucioneers got well and truly scammed by a thorough and sophisticated organised crime group. It's likely to happen more often than one might think, but equally, if a watch sells successfully, that has an 'eraser' effect on the dodgy provenance......that said, you can bet that all valuers in all the heritage teams in all the major maisons are now vetted (microscopically) by specialist security firms :D Loving the content Britt, but I have some gentle feedback on your filming - cropping off the top of your head (aaaargh!) unbalances your careful framing and... I love the fact you bought a quality mic and boom, but maybe keep it out of shot!! It dominates the image, and puts a big, black, static thing between you and the lens. ( there's a reason you never/rarely see mics or booms in films!!) Your lighting, framing, sound and editing is brilliant.....just those things tweak my production OCD :D ...but...I love your work....so I;m being picky :D
