China’s realestate industry is in Terminal decline (60,000,000 empty houses) with their biggest realestate firms collapsing, Port of Shanghai at. Standstill along with empty shops and factories. The combination of crazy strict Covid lockdown, the world moving manufacturing away from China and their demographic bomb (1 child policy, rapid urbanization etc) had resulted in a reduction in population faster than japans or korea. This means less and less consumers and falling factory workers. Their GDP numbers have always been fake.

All the info I had was as of 2022 or earlier! But it's hard to find things from 2023 that I'd find reliable enough to say. I'll read articles in the Economist or the Guardian talking about China's economic slowdown... But then I read a KPMG report saying their economy has grown 5.5% and are on an economic rebound. WHOOO DO I BEEELIEVE?! Haha! ^_^ I do need to look into the Shanghai BMW's selling real cheap tho! This is so intriguing!

Can you imagine Omega meeting with Bucherer (Rolex) to discuss marketing? Be interesting to see how much Bucherer contributes to other watch manfacturers market share.

2023-09-21 21:12:03 +0000 UTCHmmm…. Rolex clearly has a “master plan.” However, none of this means anything to me at all. I don’t own a Rolex or Tudor and neither is on my radar. As long as I can buy what i DO want locally, I have no real concern. I don’t expect the Rolex Police to forcibly deliver one to my residence while simultaneously debiting my bank account. And since Bucherer has no facility near me, my watch dollar won’t go to Rolex Global Command Headquarters. (Someone mentioned the BORG: Buy Only Rolex, Global.) This is excellent information that I have not seen elsewhere. Great video! It keeps us informed in an uncertain Watch World. 😎
