But I had a phone call with a friend recently who reminded me bone takes a while to heal! <3 So I've got to be more patient with it. Ok, watches! OYSTERQUARTZ! YES! You know! I've never seen one in the flesh!!! So dang cool! You are so lucky to own one!!! Also FUCK QUARTZ SNOBS ;) I am the same! So I've got my quartz Cartier Santos (the small only comes in quartz), but it's a two handed dress watch! Even if it was mechanical... No one would ever be able to tell the difference! Haha. Damn, just let people live their lives. The whole point of the oyster quartz is well... QUARTZ! Extremely cool piece of Rolex history and horological history!

We are watch people! ;) We obsess over tiny differences! There's a way that the jubilee wraps to the wrist that like... I've not experienced before! It's also super breathable! I find jubilee a bit more comfortable in the summertime. :) But these are tiny observations and nit picking!

The current model is definitely on my short list to get my hands on. It is one of those interesting models where when I was first getting interested in watches I didn't get it. I thought the color scheme was "too much", now I love it. The GMT function just has a certain romantic quality to it. Also the rare 1675 "Blueberry" with the all blue bezel I think is one of the coolest looking watches period.
