RJ Ramblings
Added 2023-08-21 14:15:31 +0000 UTCI'm gonna be kinda quick with the ramblings this morning, because I really need to get to work. I feel like I'm falling behind a bit on things.
Not a whole lot to talk about the last week anyway. When I haven't been working, I've mostly been writing or planning D&D stuff. I ended up playing a game online with my friends on Wednesday, then in another game on Thursday with some new people. Probably won't do that much anymore, but occasionally will try to jump into a new game to find some new friends.
This weekend, my partner's Mom and her girlfriend came down to visit and stayed with us at our new house. It was nice having them here for a couple of days. Watched a movie, went out to eat, went shopping, and hung around the house.
It's been so hot here in Texas that it's been almost impossible to leave the house. These weeks of over 105F degree weather is just killing me. I'm ready to go out hiking again, but I can't in this heat.
We're trying to set up a vacation for late October, but haven't figured out where we want to go or what we want to do. I've been doing a lot of research and planning on that, but haven't quite come up with a plan yet.

I empathize with you on the weather. Here where I live in Southern California, it has been hot and recently, rainy. I expect a few 100 degree weather days in the near future.
