RJ Rambles about a big life change

Hey guys! I'm writing this a little early (Friday morning), because right now on Monday I'm out camping!

I guess this is as good a time as any to talk about why October is going to be a super busy month for me...

I'm getting married.

My partner and I have been together for almost 10 years now. Our anniversary is on Halloween. We decided to finally tie the knot and will be getting married this month on Friday the 13th. It's just going to be a small wedding. Close family and a few friends. We're going somewhere pretty and going to say some pretty words and then we'll be married. 

I'm extremely excited about it. Not nervous at all either actually. I've known I wanted to marry her for a long time, but the time was never right. Now, with us in our own house, and able to take a honeymoon afterwards, it feels right. 

So, we'll be getting married on the 13th. Then towards the end of the month (I think we're leaving on the 28th), we're going to take our honeymoon. I'll tell you about that after we get back, but we're both excited about it. It's not a typical honeymoon place. It's a little cheaper and closer, because I didn't want to fly. But I think we'll have a good time. So I'll be gone for around a week or so at that point. 

Part of the honeymoon is going to be hiking and camping, so that's part of why we're getting some practice in on smaller trips before that. That's why I'm out camping right now. And we might go one more time before the honeymoon. 

These things are going to slow down my work on Come Home a little. I'm trying my best to minimize the amount that it'll slow down production, but you know, this is important for us. I still think that I'll be able to release in the first half of December, but I'm not positive. I'm going to be working hard before all the wedding chaos to stack up the render queue and get as much done as possible to make up for the days off. 

Anyways! Yeah! So that's what's going on with us. We're both happy and excited and in love and I can't wait to wife her.
