RJ Rambles about getting married

Hey everybody! Thanks for all the congrats and well-wishes. I got married over the weekend. We had a small ceremony with close family and friends. We did everything non-traditionally. We wrote our own vows. It all lasted about 20 minutes. Was the perfect ceremony for me, who dislikes crowds, dislikes being the center of attention, and highly dislikes traditional ceremonies, especially those with religious origins.

And now I am become waifu, destroyer of men's dreams.

All this doesn't really change my relationship with Mango much. We have basically been married for 10 years. We've been faithful to each other and have lived together for that whole time. We act like a married couple. The only difference was that piece of paper that makes the government recognize us as married, so I can get a better break on taxes, we can get joint health insurance, and we have some sort of say if something happens to each other. That's the reason for the marriage. All the commitment of vows is nice, but we commit to each other every day anyway.

Anyways, that's over now. The wedding was fun. We had a 20 minutes ceremony followed by a 14 hour party. I stayed up too late and drank too many margaritas, ate too many tacos, and had a fantastic time.

Other than that whole thing, I haven't really done a lot in the past week. I've been playing Subnautica: Below Zero some. And I've still been hiking a few times a week. It's gotten colder in Texas now, so it's been nice to hike without sweating so much.

Anyways, that's all I got for this week. I'm back to work now and enjoying getting back into my routine. Hoping to finish all the content for Update 16 before I go on my honeymoon at the end of the month. I'll be cutting it pretty close.
