Last week felt really good for me. I'm trying to remember things that happened.
I mostly worked on the game, like usual, but the work has been really good lately. Things have been moving at a good pace, I feel like I'm better organized than I've been in the past, and I've been finishing up my work earlier in the day, leaving more time for other things. Lately, my "other things" have been MORE work on different projects. I have a couple secret projects that I've been working on and can't wait to share more about, but I want them to be surprises!
Aside from that, I took one day off this week and my partner and I had a little lunch date in Dallas, where we went to this Thai place that we hadn't been to in like 4 years. Then we went to a gaming store where I picked up all the expansions for Arkham Horror. And we played a little bit together, but got slaughtered by a Wendigo. Still fun!
Let's see, aside from that, I've been playing the new Binding of Isaac expansion on Steam a bit. This is one of my favorite games ever. I've been playing it for like 7 or 8 years and I pretty much never get tired of it.
Also movies! We've been watching Joe Bob's Last Drive in on Shudder on Friday nights. If you don't know him, Joe Bob Briggs is a horror host who's been around for a LONG time and this show is a double feature of horror movies that he interrupts every once in a while to talk and make jokes about. It's a lot of fun. And yesterday, we had a fun time watching the new Mortal Kombat movie - I liked it, but thought the MC had a case of the borings.
