Update 9 Roadmap

Hey everybody! Hopefully you have had a chance by now to play Update 8. I have gotten such a good response from it and I'm so happy that you all have enjoyed it. 

I'm especially happy at the response that I've gotten for Adrian's scene. I know some of you are not interested in her and that's perfectly okay, but I have not gotten a SINGLE person who disliked her or was upset about her coming out as transgender in this update. Instead, I've received so much positive feedback and support for her that I've been a little blown away by it. I love all of you and I love the community that we've begun to develop. You're all amazing. 

Okay, now that we've finished Update 8 though, it's time to move on and look forward to the next! 

Update 9 is going to be a big one. There's probably more content here than any of my previous updates, and there's going to be a lot of little tweaks and fixes that make the game more fun to play. 

The goal for this update is to make the game as good as possible, fix as much of the minor things that I've been ignoring as possible, and make it look and play amazing, because HOPEFULLY this will be the first update that I put up on Steam. I've been working towards a Steam release for some time - I've filled out all the paperwork, paid the fees, and started moving towards setting up a page. I'm hoping by the time this update releases, I'll have everything ready to go. Putting the game on Steam is a pretty big deal - it means a lot of new eyes on it, and hopefully a big increase in supporters and money. As this game's supporters are my only source of income, I definitely need the money. 

Okay, so let's talk about all the stuff that's coming up in Update 9: 

Update 9 Contents

• New content for all 20 characters - Some characters are going to get more than others, like always. Biggest scenes in this update are going to go to Suzy, Jez, Izzy, and Whitney, but all the characters get some good new stuff. 
• Replace the in-game help system and gallery - I'll have some more info soon, but basically, I'm getting rid of the help system that has been in the game and adding something which I think is better. You will be able to view a character's profile and see all the content for them (scenes, dates, conversations, repeatable sex scenes). Then, if you've previously seen that content, you will be able to replay it. If you haven't previously seen it, it will give you a hint on how to unlock it. I think you're all going to like it quite a bit!
• Conversation poses for Suzy, Dana, Lisa, and Mrs. Mills - Right now, if you go have conversations with these characters, it just shows a single image while the conversations are happening. I'll be adding expressions here for all the conversations to make them a little more engaging. 
• Tammy's work chat conversations - Right now, chatting with Tammy at work just gives you a little affection, and that's it. I'll be adding actual conversations here. 
• Chat with Juliana while she works - You'll be able to chat and have conversations with Juliana while she's working at the cafe to gain affection, after you've become friends and study partners with her.
• Re-rendering old images - You may have noticed the dining room scenes that I re-rendered in the previous update. I'll be continuing that, focusing on older portraits that don't quite match the current content, Gertrude's office scenes, all the English Class images, Mrs. Mills office, and Dana's desk. 
• 15 New scenes
• 454 New images
• 27 New animations
• 4 New dates
• 11 Repeatable sex scenes
• 12 New conversations
• 13 New Functions

Release

Compared to my previous updates that is quite a lot of content - but honestly, I don't think any of this update is going to be very difficult. I'm already moving forward pretty quickly on it and I don't expect it to take any longer than the previous updates. So when is it going to release?

I'm not going to put a date down on it, but I'm expecting August. 

Final Thoughts

I just want to thank you all again for supporting me. I feel very fortunate that I can wake up every morning looking forward to working on something I truly enjoy. Everybody has been so kind and helpful and supportive. It's been a year since I released the first version of the game, and right now I feel SO much better about everything than I did back then. 

I think this second year of the game is going to be even better. Love you all!
