RJ Ramblings

Besides working on the game, which has been going very smoothly, I've been watching some movies, playing a little games, and just generally having a good time. Still playing Subnautica mostly, trying to finish that one, but also been playing Cyber Shadow - a sort of old-school Ninja Gaiden-style game, which I love. Also played D&D (Pathfinder actually) yesterday and have been more excited about that lately.
My birthday is Wednesday! I'll be 31. Don't have anything major planned to do that day - will probably still work some (because I love to work on the game) and then just chill with my partner most of the day.
My mom bought me a new computer chair for my birthday - a Secret Labs Omega. Today is the first day I'm sitting in it while I'm working and I love it. FAR more comfortable than my old chair and hopefully will help with my posture and back/butt pain.
Also! I got myself a new tablet for my birthday. I'd been dealing with an old ipad2 that barely worked. The other night, it locked me out and wanted me to reactivate the tablet, and that was the last straw. I just went online at 2am and bought a Galaxy Tab A7, which should come in today, so I'm excited about that!
OH! Yesterday morning, I was talking to Drifty over on his server. He makes Leap of Faith, if you haven't played it - great game and an all-around nice guy - and we were talking about The Ring (horror movie). I mentioned that I wouldn't mind seeing Lexi (one of his characters) come out of my TV. Then he posted a render showing just that (adorable Lexi climbing out of the TV). I wanted to try my hand at the trick, but took a slightly different, more horrific route:
I guess that's about it for me. I woke up a little late because I forgot to turn my alarm back on after the weekend. Now I have to order groceries before I can start working - ugh.
