Hey everybody!

Last week has been... okay?

I'm not really sick any more. Thanks for all the well-wishes. I appreciate it.

Earlier in the week, some workers showed up and started digging out by the street in front of my house. I wasn't sure what they were digging for, but eventually found out they're installing a fiber internet line, which is fantastic! That means I'm going to be getting fiber internet soon.

Unfortunately, when they were digging, they messed up my current DSL internet line and knocked my internet out. I told them about this, and they fixed it temporarily, but when they finished digging, they apparently buried the line again, got it wet, and it messed up once again. When I complained this time, the company decided that they would not send out another crew to dig the line back up again, since I am the only customer on this line, and that instead, I would just have to wait until the fiber line is ready.

So I've been using my mobile phone data, which has already maxed out for the month and been throttled down to a very low speed. Weirdly, it doesn't seem to actually effect my internet speed when I use my phone as a hotspot though. When I'm on my phone, the mobile data barely works, but I'm on my computer right now, connected to my phone as a hotspot right now, and it seems like the internet speed is just fine? I don't understand any of this. I'm just REALLY looking forward to having fiber internet.

Other than that whole mess, in my spare time, I've been doing Lego stuff, listening to true crime podcasts, working out semi-regularly, and that's about it?
