I think the question that came up was whether to coordinate beforehand on which content each player has seen.. I'd suggest no, let those things come up in the video. It'll be fun to watch you guys try to tiptoe around story points and end up spoiling it by accident anyway. :)

I loved Brandon Plays Pokemon and I'm pumped to watch this sequel! I lost interest in the series starting at Gen 4, so hearing the accounts of the adventures is going to be great!

Can't watch yet because of Nintendo's dumb decision to release the games later in Europe, but I'm really excited to start watching once I've caught up next week.

You should both keep lists of your pokemon to compare. That way you can check the list of the other person without spoiling what the pokemon looks like.

This adventure is going to be so much more enjoyable than it usually is, getting to "play along" with Kyle and Brandon (and Ben-sama?). It will help keep me from giving up due to boredom-- not because Pokemon isn't fun, but because I just personally hate turn-based combat. I put up with it in these kinds of games because I inherently love monster capturing/collecting; always have. The monster capture factor will enable me to put up with just about anything for a while-- but this is one I've got to complete to the nth degree. You guys keep the fire lit.

I'm totally in Brandon's boat except that I played Pokemon Red when it came out on GB. I even had Charmander as my starter too and I leveled him up a lot. I loved it then, but none of the Pokemon that followed really enticed me. The new pokemon that followed didn't look as cool as the originals, and there just didn't seem like much was progressing throughout the series. Sun and Moon's animations and inclusion of some original pokemon make it enticing for me, but it's hard to justify buying more games right now with muh backlog. This'll be a great resource to figure out if I will actually get this game. I'm looking forward to seeing more episodes.

MY hype levels are through the roof for this show. Man I wish I could've maintained a higher level of media blackout, though. I managed to avoid a fair amount of news but it would've been magical going into the game as Blind as Kyle and Brandon.

YES!! So happy to see this series return! I think it’s okay for you to discuss things in the game the other hasn’t seen yet. The game is (I guess) fairly linear in progress, so you can agree to discuss your progress up to a certain milestone (e.g. a town, a gym, or a particular event). That way you don’t have to hold back your enthusiasm to the other and I think it gives that similar vibe as when discussing your progress with a friend at school, like “Did you capture that particular Pokémon?”, or “Did you discover that secret cave?”. In my opinion that is more intimate and fun than finding out in retrospect on your own via the internet. Looking forward to episode 1!

Having a break over Thanksgiving is perfect. Seeing as we Europeans have to wait till Wednesday the 23rd for the game, we'll have a chance to maybe catch up to rest of the world and you before the second episode comes out. Also, sweet "The Prodigy" reference.

Kyle and Brandon, I love this format. I loved how the Brandon Plays Pokemon was a weekly show. It allowed for you (the hosts) to play at your own pace and not the communities. By not putting out anything other than conjecture and theories you have made me hyped for how you guys let us know how your adventure is coming along. I don't want to have any community input into the choices made or decision needed to be take in the game. Hearing about the ups and downs of your adventures first hand is what makes this series special. Keep up the great work guys. And go catch'em all.

Whoo! So excited for this series! This is going to have its own uniqueness because we're all jumping into this new region together. Also I dont recall anyone ever playing games in a franchise 20 years apart. Brandons input on the giant leap 6 generations into the future is going to be great to listen to as Kyles views on how this generation is shaking the staples, that fans have gone through the motion for 20 years, up.

I had made up my mind, I was going to skip Sun/Moon and wait a year and see if the rumoured Pokemon Star games for Switch come out, and get that version instead. But because I love this show, I would like to keep up and play alongside you guys. So now I'm reconsidering getting Pokemon Sun :\ (I also want to watch this show and not spoil the game for myself) Not sure what to do now. Hmm.
