Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Review

I finally made my way through all that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has to offer, and here’s my score. It represents the sum of IW’s many parts. With so many shooters coming our way, I like to focus on what’s being done differently, what lessons have been learned, and how unique are the different experiences. The FPS genre on fire right now, so there’s definitely something for everyone. This game is a bargain. I just got into Modern Warfare a couple of days ago and its multiplayer is such a trip. It’s one thing to play a remastered single player game, but jumping back into old maps after playing so many modern shooters is very interesting. Maybe I’ll see a few of you online!

To be fair, if they were able to review every release there would be a larger range of scores, mainstream AAA games will always review reasonably well.

After all, it's not available in all versions of the game, and the one that does contain it is substantially more expensive. That said, good review, Brandon, but maybe the scoring system is starting to show its flaws. 4 stars is starting to feel like the standard score for every videogame out there. I'd love to see more variety in that regard. Since you dared to use "I" in this one maybe each ally can start to give more personal touches to their reviews, and that reflects in the scores! Sorry if I'm being too harsh on the criticism. I just would love to see you improve and go the extra mile. L&R.
