How to Ask a Question (on the internet)

Even the most skilled must sometimes ask questions. It is a skill best honed through introspection, rather than practice.

Probably going to release this Saturday unless anyone spots any egregious problems.  :D

The acting is really getting better :D Also more blooper reels please!

LOL. Had to learn this the hard way over the years. Level1Techs, creating content that creates better people. Love it! Thanks folks. Very comprehensive. I can send this video (when it's released) in place of <a href="http://www.catb.org/esr/faqs/smart-questions.html" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.catb.org/esr/faqs/smart-questions.html</a>

Nothing egregious enough :) . A thing could be mentioned is people on the internet replying to your "how do I do this?" with "you should not do this", or "why would you want to do this?", when you really really only need to know you need to do exactly this and would prefer not to have to justify every deviant line of code to complete strangers on the internet. Perhaps one should answer exactly how to do this, and then point out exactly why you shouldn't.

The most egregious problem I hear is the dialogue audio being split up between channels. Ryan's audio is mostly on the left channel, with some echo to the right, while Krista's is entirely on the right channel. People with one functional ear (like me) will have trouble hearing everything when listening with headphones.

Funny and insightful - loved the blooper reel motorbikes :-) Going to show this to work colleagues on Monday, just for the intro section alone! No problems with it really, maybe a forum post with an example of how to structure a question to get best solution. List info from Krista was useful, but maybe not clear enough for newbie.
