I was really hoping to learn the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow... *sigh*

Their equipment is fine. It's about what they do in post with their recordings.

These are fun. I think this is a good example of what could be more of that original content discussed in the video; more wouldn't hurt ; )

They just need Focusrite to give them the Linus treatment (at least I think it was Focusrite).

Hard times (for me) - I wish I could give you more because you realy deserve it. Please do what you want to do - this is great! Don't let anyone tell you what you should do (not even how to do the sound). I'm here to enjoy YOUR content. And I do. Keep on doing your good work - all of you. haha, just giving you a hard time :-P Wine can work for gaming, but the vfio gaming stuff works really well, especially after looking glass. It isn't as good as bare metal but its good enough for sure. Duel boot for max performance.

Level1 Techs

One persistent pattern I can see with your videos, is that you never get your audio levels to be right in post. According to YT's "Stats For Nerds" this video in particular is too quiet by 6.4dB. You can measure loudness on your local machine using either a VST plugin that displays momentary LUFS or ffmpeg to calculate the entire loudness value of your exported audio file. YT's target loudness seems to be at around 15 LUFS. You can increase your volumes by applying more compression in post (it's voice so that's a good thing anyway) as well as a limiter to get rid of random small peaks that remain after normalisation.
