Sadly vimeo needs a lot more support - I did support it with plus at 50 euros, but its pretty limited. Oh well, I can't wait to watch you guys in a more confined manner.

2018-02-02 20:14:32 +0000 UTCGreat video. I think one thing that might lead people in a different direction is that a server is a server only in function. It isn't required that folks use "server" hardware. My freenas is running on a desktop in a Fractal Design R5.
2018-02-01 23:49:33 +0000 UTCIt's a recommendation and I do it just so I can feel good about it, but ZFS w/ ECC isn't necessary. With or without it it'll still be more reliable than other filesystems, contrary to some of what you see on the forums. EDIT: That said, if you're using FreeNAS you're probably using it for long-term storage of lots of things on a machine with very long uptime, so while forgoing ECC isn't the disaster some people make it out to be, you might want to consider getting it anyway just for the peace of mind.
