I know you said you didn't want the correction but I can't just leave it be, the disk that painters mix their paint on is called a pallete, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palette_(painting)

Agree with you about the second season. The finale of season 2 is probably my favorite finale of any show. Season 3 was a great ending as well. Fantastic show that will be like the Wire: nobody watched it when it aired but it will revered as the years go by

Three hour podcast spanning three days. Just my kinda podcast! I would have to say that the frame trap games were not in my catalogue of knowledge. Although I had an inkling about kid Icarus. Great episode! L&R

Nice shirt Kyle!

It's not just him though, brad has stated it as well. And I agree with them. It's not just Microsoft as a company, but the fanbase trying to justify the system's existence, claiming it's superiority or relevance over other current gen consoles, and I don't think that really exists anymore since you can play just about all of their games on something else. From a business standpoint it makes little sense to keep pushing boundries and price tags with this console if they are seemingly pushing people towards PCs. If they don't intend to try and convince people to get this console, then....why does it exist? Why risk it at the price point it's at? Why not compete directly with PS4 pro and match it's price if it's more or less accomplishing the same thing for it's audience and is marketed as such? But either way, they have to discuss it. And the sentiment is pretty common now that you might as well just have a decent PC instead of an XB1, it's no surprise that among the allies there's at least 1-2 of them that feel the same.

The Caught in a Frame Trap this week was too hard for me too. I knew none of them.

I'm really get sick of hearing Damiani talk about how he has no reason to buy the Xbox One X. Microsoft openly has realized there's little point in trying to force PC gamers to get their console. Its why they started Play Anywhere. Stop complaining that they are letting you play on PC. Hardware is sold at a loss, it means nothing to them if you play on an xbox or a pc. (Them buying steam is a pretty fun idea to think about...) For a lot people $500 is a huge stretch for any gaming purchase, and getting 4k gaming on PC is around $1500-$2000 at least including a 4k monitor. If you want stable performance you have to tweak the settings as well, something you don't have to do on consoles. It's an extremely reasonable product, Microsoft isn't claiming they want every single person to have it. Keep in mind I have a $2500 gaming PC with bleeding edge hardware. I have every reason (according to him) to agree.

Ben! Thank you for talking about The Leftovers! I feel like it has given me some of the most intense emotional reactions and the way they weave the story through following different characters perspectives is beautiful. I'm so excited to hear your thoughts on the show once you've seen it all, so please give us an update once that happens!

Brittany Fuller

Ben, I really want to hear your follow up when you finish season 2 of The Leftovers. That is probably the best season of any show I've ever seen. And I agree, it's something you really have to talk yourself into getting into with such heavy themes right at the start.

Damn! Now that's a podcast...I'm saving this one for work tomorrow. Sounds perfectly befitting.

laughed out loud @ "butt wiped*

Freedom planet was joy for me too, i feel it's more megaman X with sonic speed imo. can't wait for FP2 hoping it makes the switch :D

I am sooooo down for a Shadow game. Call it "Shadow Fury" . . . . . no guns though.

Hearing you guys talk about Sonic Mania I can't help recommending Freedom Planet. I think you'll love it too. Just like Mania, it nails the feel of classic Sonic games and builds on it, removing some of the annoyances and... it's just a lot of fun. Please check it out, you won't regret it. And I'd also like to hear your thoughts on how it compares to Sonic games and what's unique about it. I'm super hyped for the sequel, which is in development and even has a demo out on PC already.

Another one for you guys to possibly find, is Mega/Rockman Soccer (SNES). And have any of you played Megaman X Command Mission? I feel like that was such an underrated game, not just as a Megaman game but as an RPG, it was soooooooo good! Also minor Correction: Cuphead is also going to be released on Steam. So it's not even a XB1/Windows store exclusive anymore. This was revealed during Gamescom and a steam product page went up on the client not long after the presentation.

Yo Kyle is Toby McGuire in Spider man 3 haha
