Total War: Warhammer II - Skaven Race Preview
Added 2017-08-29 00:21:55 +0000 UTCRecently I had the chance to spend about an hour with Total War: Warhammer II. More specifically, I got to see what the Skaven race was all about. While it's difficult to grasp everything about a Total War faction in such a limited amount of time, it's clear to me that Warhammer II is a game worth being excited about, even for someone like me who isn't well versed in Warhammer lore. Seeing a massive horde of rats demolish elves was extremely enjoyable and makes me want to spend a lot more time with the game when it comes out late next month.

Much as I love warhammer and all related games using the IP I just can't get into Total War, I've tried with the original TW:Warhammer but...I'm just so bad with the micromanagment of the army during combat. Had the same problem with Total War Shogun as well. But man, I want to play Skaven and Lizardmen pretty badly. Skaven are my favorite race in Mordheim and Lizardmen are so awesome in Blood Bowl 2. Two of my more favorite games using the Warhammer license.
