I used the guide on flurdy.com to get me started running my own mail server. It does a great job, but as it warns, you *must* be willing to scan through log files and troubleshoot issues along the way.

2020-09-10 01:57:18 +0000 UTCHaving managed e-mail servers for c:a 30 years, I totally agree... It's a whole world of crazy, and not for the faint of heart. The docker thingy seems niice. Then again... If you are to manage a mailserver, you really should read up on all the standerds, best practices, security products (how to use Mailscanner or Amavisd-* or similar) etc, since the bane for all (not least your own domain) is a half-assed job. You should explain Spamassassin, DCC, Razor, Pyzor etc in depth, and the use of registering with whitelists. But a good first video, I like it!
