New Patron Rewards!
Added 2017-09-30 21:25:28 +0000 UTCIn case you missed the announcement this week, we have replaced our $2 and $10 rewards. $2 was previously Trailer Jones, which is currently a goal we're working to reach, and $10 was Community Comments, which proved too difficult to produce each month.
$2 is now the "Group Stream Selection Committee." As a distinguished member, you help nominate and select the game we play during our Group Stream every Tuesday night. We will include more specific details about this when Kyle makes the first post next week before we gather again on Tuesday.
$10 is now the Easy Allies Community Showcase. Once a month we’ll highlight comments, art, music, photos, videos, games, Gundams, etc. from the Patrons at this tier in a live stream. We feel this is better in a lot of ways. It give our patrons more flexibility in expressing themselves creatively, and by showing the entries off in a monthly stream as opposed to a monthly show, we know we can be much more consistent with the schedule.
These rewards will evolve over the next couple of months as we see how the community reacts to and takes advantage of them. We want them to make sense to all of you as well. Let us know what you think!

Is there still going to be a post where we can submit our comments, or is it something that will show up in a non-patreon post? I only ask because I hardly ever have the time to go to and watch you livestreams on Twitch.

2017-10-03 15:34:09 +0000 UTCOn the one hand I like the $2 Group stream selection idea but on the other hand I don't like taking away something (the voting) from the $1 tier. When my pledge was $1, the voting always made me feel included. I like the idea suggested above of having $2 and up selecting a game and letting everyone vote, though.

Also, I think Osbeorn's suggestion above, letting $2 and up patrons nominate specific games but letting all patrons vote, is a good one.

2017-10-01 01:53:09 +0000 UTCNot really liking the idea that group stream selection is removed from the 1 dollar patreons, if that is what the change is. It feels a bit greedy to me, this change won't earn you much more money and will likely make you lose some patreons at least. How I think it should be done is that the 2 dollar and above patreons gets to nominate games, then you take the 3 most popular nominees and let every patreon vote between them, that way the 1 dollar patreon wouldn't lose anything and the 2 dollar patreon would still be a cool tier. That would be much better in my opinion. Love you guys, but this change is not to my liking (Assuming that I've understood it correctly).

2017-09-30 22:49:57 +0000 UTCAs I understand it, Instead of Kyle choosing three games for people to vote on now people in the 2 dollar tier make suggestions in the comments and the most popular choice wins. Meaning the game the majority of the community wants to see would win instead of the random games Kyle chooses each week.

This makes me think this is not the same as voting for a game in the $1 tier. Is this a separate thing or is this going to replace the $1 tier? If the latter, it will likely discourage new people from pledging and likely see myself dropping my pledge as I don't see it being worth the $2.

Also, people love to send you stuff and express themselves in artistic ways, so that $10 reward hopefully gets some more action now. And it's denifitely better as a live stream now that it doesn't eat up so much time and effort with editing etc.

Man, that was a great feeling. And it was cool to see other comments from the Patreon community as well. Can't wait for the upcoming Community Comments stream. Hopefully comments from the September edition are included in the stream.

Don't get me wrong, i love Easy Allies but just feel that price is higher now. I get for $2 now something i had for $1 and lost the reason why i wen't up. Not fair a bit
