im scared im just going to see EZA hype of the series to wanting it to all be over but can't since obligations since JC Staff has been literally killing series that people were hype for to come back after years.

JC Staffs animation isn’t the same as the standard set by Madhouse in S1, but hopefully most the fights will be well animated. Outside of fight will be mostly panning shots though. I have good expectations for the season, ONE is a great author, and his comedy and plot development are a 10

Opm2 airs at 1:35am which is 9:35am pdt so expect around 10:35 since sites r usually within the hour. Crunchyroll has also announced this time for Europe as they’ve picked up the show for Europe.

It was suggested to me to change it to It's EZ to Like Anime", so not sure if that stemmed from ShuRikkin's suggestion. Will likely go with EZ because it conveys a more casual show and the full title works in "E, Z, and A" into it. Also I assume it won't be as difficult to swap "OK" with "EZ" on the logo so it maybe won't be a huge deal to revise it. - Damiani

It’s not just the trailer. It’s been stated they should be about done animating the show but have only finished up to episode two as of recent. Deadlines getting closer leads to overwork and rushing. As we know that’s never good. At least the first few episodes will be decent since they had time. Jc staff apparently is focusing more on anime that are planned for summer like season two of Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon among others. There is a dungeon girl movie this year so makes sense they’d want to promote season two along with it n have it look good. In my opinion opm2 isn’t as bad as it is made out to be if you’re not a stickler for animation. Of course I will admit it won’t be like season one. Anyone expecting season one quality I think will be sorely disappointed. It also sucks coming off of mob cuz ppl will compare it regardless. Jc staff is also known for panning shots a lot to make it seem it’s animated so expect that.

Hi Allies, I just wanted to know about the animation style changes. Obviously, the trailer for Season 2 has had a big fallout where many have expressed disapproval of the animation. Of course, the trailer alone maybe doesnʻt show everything, but one of my favorite things about One Punch Man S1 was the animation. It was fast, fluid, conveyed speed of motion and force very well. Do you have apprehension about the animation or are you trusting?

Patron ShuRikkin gave an excellent alternative: "It’s Easy to Like Anime" Which both sounds better and aligns with the Easy Allies brand. I really hope you consider this. Sounds good guys. I’m sure you’ll have it requested a lot but ‘Demon Slayer’ (Kimetsu no Yaiba) just started airing and is all set to explode in popularity this season. For a complete list of the current season ‘Anichart’ is good place to look as it ranks by popularity. And feel free to consider the title ‘It’s Easy to Like Anime’.

For those unaware and don’t want to pay for Hulu you will be able to see it for free a week behind actual Hulu subscribers on viz’s site. Hulu doesn’t have a free option but viz’s site although it uses the Hulu player mainly focuses on free episodes so you just go there. They have prior exclusives on there free as well. As for current shows borutos there so u can watch it free. You’re just an episode behind is all. I know funimation havin exclusives is already enough n some ppl don’t want to pay for Hulu just for Opm2. Another thing too is if you’ve had Hulu before they usually email you trials all the time so there’s that.

Regarding OPM so far what do you think is the split between people watching that are just in it for the fight scenes ala DBZ and those in it more for the humorous subversion of the Shōnen genre? What do you guys most enjoy about it?

I think it's fine to dislike something and equally as interesting. It is kind of interesting since one punch man season 2 is already set up to be controversial, they changed animation studios and a new director. The Trailer clearly shows worse animation so it could be not as amazing as season 1.

I'm curious as to what your plans are if you ever pick a show that no one on the panel ends up liking? Would you continue through the season just for the sake of it, stop producing your show until next season, or do something else? I personally wouldn't want to watch a show called Its Okay to Like Anime if no one actually likes it, so I think it wouldn't hurt to have an exit plan ready just in case.

I love the idea of this show, but it doesn't seem like I'll be able to watch it. One Punch Man season 2 isn't airing anywhere in the UK, and the suggestions I saw for next season (One Piece and Dragon Ball Super) are kind of impractical for those of us who aren't already fans and caught up. Is there any chance in the future of covering a show that's brand new, so everyone can start it together? The Promised Neverland from this last season would have been perfect. But I understand of course that famous shows get more viewers, and nobody knows if a brand new show will be good before it airs.

Where do you see Saitama's character arc going after season 1 showed him become somewhat selfless by the end?

It’s pretty cool to air your show the same day the anime episode happens but it gives such short notice for people to finish up a work day, watch the episode forcing us to miss parts of the group stream, just so we can hope to attend the new live show on time. Feels brutal!
