The reason why Microsoft will always be at E3 while Phil Spencer is the head of xbox is because he is on the board of the ESA

Bit late, but I hope things are better :)

Sony has gaming media completely subservient to them, they win either way.

I agree with you. Honestly, I discovered E3 at the same time I discovered the Allies. Their infamous FF7 and Shenmue reactions. I heard there was a FF7 remake and I searched Youtube for it and I found GT and their reactions. I only watch E3 because I like watching the Allies. Their excitement brings me joy. Outside of the Allies presenting E3, I don't really care much for it. If I want info on new games I like, I just go online and look at demos and other videos.

I'm not sure why the Sony message keeps getting misinterpreted so blatantly- Sony is skipping out on E3 because it's NOT as fan-focused as they'd like it to be. They're foregoing E3 and opting to go for Nintendo-Direct styled presentations that are delivered to press and fans alike in a timely and efficient manner. There seems to be a blindness-coming from individuals (such as the allies) that often personally attend E3- that seem to think that being AT E3 is of upmost importance to fans across the world. This is quickly becoming not the case. With Sony State of Plays and PSN demos and developer interviews that can be delivered via YouTube, or Reddit AMAs, the huge behemoth logistical nightmare of E3 is simply no longer needed. It was always a fantastic spectacle, but it's time to move on. And over the years Sony HAS increased their presence at smaller, more consumer-oriented trade shows such as Paris Games Week, TGS, and PAX. This is Sony saying that they don't need mainstream games media hands-on coverage to proliferate news about their games

First time submitting to L&R and got picked! Thanks, Kyle!

I'm with you there. Highly doubt they'll start selling fresh releases on PC since exclusives is in my opinion their main selling factor, other than people just needing a game console and choosing one over the other.

Thanks for taking my question Kyle. Just want to say i have more an issue with people not being able to manage their expectations and emotions than hype itself. Watch Maximillian Dood’s reaction video to see some one adjust their expectations in real time. I mean I’m a patron of EZA, you have to like hype. Also Byleth looks cool to play.

I don’t usually comment, but yes, I’m a scrub.

Glad Damiani was on for this one with his educated industry analysis. Naive speculators are predicting this Horizon news means Sony will release their first parties day and date on PC. Won't happen. Makes sense for old games though. First parties still need to sell consoles and owning a console gives Sony a 30% cut of every game sold on the platform. That's where the money still is.

Easy Allies podcast making my bad day a little bit better. Thanks, guys <3

Horizon Zero Dawn for PC will get more of my money I guess. Bought and played the game and DLC on console already, but the game is so pretty and good that I don't mind replaying it on the PC with hopefully 60 frames per second and more graphic tweaks.
