Comments
Hi Martenas, I want you to know that we did not actively remove your comments. It was likely the same issues with Patreon's spam filters that regularly eat comments on community showcase videos, etc. People tend to have success by contacting Patreon support and letting them know about the issue. As long as you refrain from spam or insulting other users, it's unlikely that we would remove your comments at any point. We value your stories and appreciate your input. -Bloodworth

2020-06-05 17:51:49 +0000 UTCSo i want to show appreciation for you guys doing this. As a black guy from the south who is almsot 40, i have seen my fair share of this stuff on the news, first hand. As matter of fact, i live in ATL, and its all true. I drove downtown (where i used to live) and it was graffiti and destroyed business fronts everywhere. I have my own interpretations of the events; mostly that this is a symptom of the underlying problem, not a reaction. That blck people are as accountable for random looters as whte people are for random crooked cops, we arent! We are all responsible for eachother in this country cause we are all in the same country (we need to stop acting like we are in our own little islands) This is an American problem. And we need to be united in solving it. Not pointing fingers! I also understand you guys have a brand, and want to keep the dialogue here controlled. That being said... i also think its important to let the unfiltred truth out there, and when someone is trying to realy first hand experience of what they went through, to not try and stiffle that. It may not sound pretty, but i was in the exact position of many of these black men who died. I just got lucky... or blessed rather, to have some guiding light trough it all. Deep south Alabama is a very harsh region to grow up in, especially the hood. Videogames and tabletop and comics were my only escape with my mostly white group of freinds. But i would see msyelf get into far more testy situations than them. But i digress. I just want you guys to know i have followed you for over 13 years, and my comments getting taken down was a sorta blow to that long legacy of keeping up with you. If you ever want to learn about the pain in our country, then just listen to those ho have experienced. Even if its harsh to do so! I love everyone... but the truth must come out too. Much L&R Hopefully this doesn't end with me just letting yall go
2020-06-05 15:28:47 +0000 UTCThanks for the stream the other night guys, helped ease things after a rough few days - congrats to you and this community on exceeding the fundraising goal
2020-06-04 18:41:40 +0000 UTCProud of the Allies for a great stream. Well done in smashing the target goals.

2020-06-03 13:14:25 +0000 UTCEven if his criminal history is relevant, even if he had drugs in his system, why did the police officers on the scene need to beat the man, and pull him out of vehicle to kneel on him following his arrest? Plain and simple they did not. Unless you can prove to me that had the officers not removed Mr. Floyd from the vehicle he would have died 8 minutes and 46 seconds later in the car I think it is hard to argue that not only were the officers negligent, but they were also responsible for the death of George Floyd. Furthermore, this problem does not exist in a vacuum. Dozens of innocent lives have been lost, year after year, and I would hope we as a people can see this is a pattern of violence against black communities by police, and other nefarious actors who have been given the legal precedent to oppress. I would just ask that you look outside yourself, at the humanity of those around you, and understand that without change, we will never see change.

2020-06-03 11:49:47 +0000 UTCI believe we all donate as we see fit, I donated to a small business owner who had his restaurant/bar looted and burned down, so unfair to see people's hard work and livehood destroyed
Monika
2020-06-03 08:34:31 +0000 UTCDoes this black life matter? Iβd rather the allies donate to his family. https://heavy.com/news/2020/06/david-dorn-police-killed/

2020-06-03 08:15:01 +0000 UTChe had fentanyl and meth in his system and a history of cardiac disease and the initial medical report stated the most likely cause of death was cardiac arrest not asphyxiation. those are very important facts when this goes to trial, as well as his state of being when the officers arrived on scene. And yes his criminal history is relevant. This is the person the allies just donated a large sum of money to. https://files.catbox.moe/4s4f38.jpg

2020-06-03 07:57:51 +0000 UTCWhat else is new? A black guy gets killed and you people look for a way to assassinate their character. What does his criminal history have to do with anything? So if someone has asthma and you restrict the air they breathe for 7 minutes, their criminal history and health issues must be it. "if" the cops are found negligent.? Are you shitting me? Don't ask the allies if they want to associate their business and name with this. How about you disassociate yourself from the allies and everyone else here? That would be great.
2020-06-03 07:48:12 +0000 UTCSo we just ignore that he had a violent criminal history and was found to have fentanyl and meth in his system along with a history of cardiac disease. Itβs almost like we should have all the facts in place before rushing to judgement and virtue signaling. If the cops involved are found negligent in a court of law than they should be appropriately punished. These riots have killed multiple people, destroyed business, ruined careers, and yes created more racism and distrust between people. Is this really something easy allies wants to associate their business and name with?

2020-06-03 05:55:11 +0000 UTCThanks for speaking up on a political issue for once that's one thing I always didn't like, L&R
2020-06-03 00:19:49 +0000 UTCFuck yes, as much as I like you guys staying quiet on most political issues, this is well beyond that. No politics, no agenda, just a want to share true respect while getting rid of any hate or discrimination.

2020-06-02 16:29:52 +0000 UTCThank you so much for doing this guys! Like Sean Stark said I canβt believe some of the YouTube comments. Iβm extremely proud to be a part of this Patreon community who all want to stand up for what it right. I love you all. L&R

2020-06-02 15:32:04 +0000 UTCThank you for taking a stand. Racism is dehumanization. People use dehumanization to abuse are dehumanizing themselves. Much respect from Japan. Be safe.

2020-06-02 15:21:10 +0000 UTCI just want to say that I am so happy to see all of the support on the Patreon as opposed to the YouTube comments. This is where the true L&R is. Thank you everyone.

2020-06-02 13:56:49 +0000 UTCHey Allies. Super glad you're doing this. I might be in the minority, but I hope it's partly a discussion on what's going on. I know some people might want the escape, but I'd personally be a bit uncomfortable with it being a video game stream for this. Either way, L&R Forever

2020-06-02 12:47:23 +0000 UTCI dont live in america, im from a country where racism is fairly low and honestly poc and specially black people are fairly rare to see and everytime something happens in America im astonished. I literally cannot believe that this stuff keeps happening. Thank you for doing this Allies, as someone said, don't worry about taking a stand, fighting against racism shouldn't be and isn't a controversial issue. L&R

2020-06-02 08:38:58 +0000 UTCThanks for doing this, Allies. This isn't a time to be silent, we should all speak up and do what we can to help make this a better world to live in. Also, if it's not too late, you guys can try to reach out to some black content creators. I'm leaving links to the tweet and a podcast many did yesterday. Below is the tweet of a podcast with Kahlief Adams - wrote for IGN, Gamespot, NY Times, Polygon, etc., Blessing Adeoye Jr. from Kinda Funny Games, Cam Hawkins from Dualshockers, and black content creators PikaChulita, ZombaeKillz, Parris about what's going on right now and how the games industry is failing black content creators. Really worth a listen. https://twitter.com/Kahjahkins/status/1267466085051232256 Podcast - A Lesson in Blackness: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SOlT1x8WXs I know Kahlief Adams is appearing in a few other places, so it might be worth to reach out and see if him and anyone else he knows would join you guys. Either way, good luck with the charity. I will show up and support the cause as best as I can. L & R

2020-06-02 07:21:44 +0000 UTCSame here with me. I tried to take a break from it all for just an hour today and I couldnβt focus either.
Sean Stark
2020-06-02 07:12:30 +0000 UTCAre you guys going to be talking about events in-depth at all? I've been having a really difficult time focusing on anything that doesn't deal with the protests... I tried listening to this week's podcast and just... couldn't. I'll tune in if you guys are going to make the stream about the stuff that's actually going down but I also realize that not everyone is going through the obsessive behavior I am and might like a place to escape all that. Either way, love and respect!

2020-06-02 07:00:14 +0000 UTCThank you. Please be careful when choosing the charity.
