Epic once again seems suspiciously generous as it kicks off its promising publishing initiative and Nintendo’s Mini Direct was indeed mini and that’s okay.

Correction/Clarification: There has been a lot of discussion regarding PS5 and Xbox Series X backwards compatibility and I think you guys keep missing a key piece of info here - Xbox Series X will be backward compatible with the ENTIRE Xbox One library day one. Meaning that all Xbox One games and any games that were backcompat on that console (360 and OG Xbox) will be available to play on Xbox Series x immediately. MS has said that it’ll continue to add to the 360 and OG Xbox list of compatible games once Series X launches but everything that has been available up until this point will still be there. This is HUGE. I know people are comparing Sony’s process to PS4 backcompat titles to the way MS did it this gen with 360 games but I don’t think that’s at all similar. Yes, Microsoft had to test older games and add them over time to the Xbox One library, but that’s because this back compat feature was added later to the Xbox One...it wasn’t an inherent feature of the machine Day One. However with Xbox Series X, Xbox One backwards compatibility IS in an inherent feature of the console day one, therefore no additional work needs to be done to add those games. ALL current gen games are available to you which isn’t the case with PS5 which I think is a HUGE deal and a big misstep by Sony. Sure the list of PS4 games on PS5 will grow over time but I imagine that the first 100 games that Sony makes available are popular games as a service (Fornite, Apex etc) and 1st Party Titles...where does that leave everyone else? What if you want to go back and play something like Evil Within 2 or and older title like AC IV Black Flag for instance? I don’t think these would be games that Sony would prioritize to test. Hell what about PSVR titles?! Are they just stranded on PS4? Those aren’t super “popular” titles I think the lack of PS4 bc I think is something people are going to notice and be more annoyed about as they get their hands on the PS5. A real shame and a MAJOR error on Sony’s part.

Correction: Blood said Xbox bought Ninja Theory to bring out games that are thought provoking and interesting.....while just this week Ninja Theory released the games as a service Bleading Edge.

CORRECTION: Star Wars Racer coming is a jaw dropping moment.

Yes, we recorded the podcast live on Twitch last night as part of EZX Digital. We're putting the episode out publicly since it's already out there. Next week will be back to normal

Any reason I'm seeing early access even though I'm not at that tier?
