I've played about as much as you, Huber, and our thoughts align! I hope you can find the time to play the original at some point (it's on GOG), as that remains one of my TOP 10 OF ALL TIME. It was truly ahead of its time back in 2001, and I replayed it before Desperados III came out and it lives up to my memory of it. That effectively would act as a sequel to this game for you, as many of the cast in this game make a "return", where Cooper is trying to get the gang back together. Highly recommended. I also noticed a Westworld reference -- one of Kate's dialogue lines as you command her to move to another location is "These violent delights..."
2020-07-02 23:08:25 +0000 UTCThis game is sooooo good and holds up the vastly underrepresented stealth genre. While there are easier difficulties, most missions consistently ramp up the difficulty until you get to the last 3-4 where every single move takes careful planning and analysis. It's also a great amount of content because each mission will likely take you around an hour on your first playthrough.
