BioWare says goodbye to a pair of creative leads and faces an uncertain future, and 2020’s Black Friday weekend isn’t as lucrative as expected. Still, things are looking bright for Travis Scott’s bank account, Super Nintendo World’s impending launch, and Aardman Animations’ newest IP.

I don't know if this is a correction, but regarding the L&R game, the percentage of stock left doesn't actually tell you anything about the sales of the product. It only shows you if the projected sales, the stock bought, was aligned percentually with the actual sales. For instance, if a store stocks 10 items and sells 5 it has 50% of stock left. If it stocks 5 items and sells 5 it has 0% percent left, but both were equal successes. Similarly if you stock a thousand units and sell 500, you are still left with 50%, but the sales were much higher in this last case.

Adding onto the above two comments: Adding onto this: Japan's second wave of COVID basically never went down and its third wave has higher cases than ever The reason there's the perception that Japan has it 'under control' is because the Government severely limits testing to only those showing symptoms and can be traced to another person who has tested positive, and even then it's not assured There has also never been a hard lockdown for businesses in Japan, only ones that did so voluntarily plus their domestic tourism campaigns which are still running in most prefectures are linked to a rise in cases Super Nintendo World will probably still open with 'can't be helped' attitude and asking people to wear masks but like a lot of places not actually enforce it Hope it makes it in as a correction!

Correction/clarification: Japan’s cases are going up again. About 2,000-2,500 daily cases as of last week. About 2,300 deaths so far, and163,000 total cases. Osaka is currently under a preemptive red alert last week as hospitals have reached 60% capacity. What this means for Super Nintendo World: unsure. The preemptive red alert in Osaka is supposed to last until Dec. 15. USJ is still open, and they are currently holding early access lotteries for annual pass holders. (I am being constantly reminded to join the lottery.) From what I understand, if/when it opens, access to the land itself will be limited. You can either purchase an extra ticket (probably a Universal Express Pass) for your timed entry, or you can try your luck for a free pass when you arrive at the park itself. Annual pass previews are due to start on Dec. 23 until Jan. 18.

Correction: Japan is doing comparivly worse than most countries in terms of covid. It just does better than the US (which is not hard unfortunately)

Blood shouting out Ocarina of Time’s boss fight as the most memorable made him my spirit animal. The fight is on the easy side but the atmosphere in that ending segment is unmatched. This was my first emotional investment in beating an enemy in a game.
