The thing about people who aren't software engineers talking about will system X hold back system Y is they focus on graphics. Which is fine, and I get it, it's the thing that is most visible to consumers. However, there is no slider in settings for AI computations and complexity.

Yeah, there's always a big difference when there's a game the majority of the panel is both knowledgeable in and passionate about especially when EZA is pretty heavily focused on discussion.

Can you guys make every episode about Souls? Thank you.

Daryl Rodriguez

Just a quick little note for you guys, ORD means WORD in Swedish (and maybe Norwegian?) which is fitting based on the game!

I'm digging One Sentence off the bat more than I think I ever did Besttake, so I think that segment is a straight upgrade. Good call, Ben! My personal nomination for game of the year would have to be Hades, because it's rare I ever find a game that is so comfortable and whole in every facet. Last of Us I can argue sags and has some dull filler, Doom I think trips itself up in its own lore a bit, and I'm simply not an Animal Crossing person, but Hades is just such a perfectly crafted experience top to bottom, from the sheer amount of dialogue to the beauty and variety in weapon, aspect and boon combinations, the scalable difficulty via heat, and the amazing soundtrack... 10/10 for me, no question.
