What really made me think of this question is our shared love of Upstream Color (Ian). I'm at a loss. I don't know how I can separate the two, especially with the subject matter and actress.

As a European I get it that Americans don’t get the references at all (just ask me anything about DC or Marvel for a copyright-able blank stare) but them pondering Document A 38 and the magic potion cauldron made my day ;-) Damn they need to read at least the first 3-4 Asterix comics, we need something like a read-party for kindle comics on Amazon prime or something.

2021-05-15 14:36:34 +0000 UTCI can understand to be hesitant towards watching Castlevania with Warren connection, but he will no longer be attached with it after season 4 and the whole show is really solid and the animation staff is just wholesome talking about working on the show with a lot of blood and guts and has some of the best animation you can see nowadays with some scenes lifted straight from berserk and act basically the best adaptation of those scenes and would be an disservice to not experience it
