I saw the trailer a little while back and basically my "spider-sense" for being terrible started going crazy... I won't lie, I went into this movie already hating it... mostly because they were combining the RE 1 & 2 story-lines, and for there horribly offensive depiction of Rookie cop but natural marksman Leon S. Kennedy... And when I saw the movie despite my reservations to see it in the first place, I was appalled with the overall direction and story choices, and especially the even worse than Imagined idiotic depiction of Leon.... BUT...like Brad right away I knew I was in for a "train wreck" of a movie, and I let go that this film was using the Resident Evil moniker, and took it as a terribly bad horror film, that was in fact humorously entertaining. It is shame because making a good RE movie would be much easier than perhaps perceived; especially if you only focus on RE 1, with only 5-6 characters and using mostly practical effects with maybe one big CGI scene that you would have spend money on... But yeah great conversation guys, and I agree.

2021-12-02 21:47:43 +0000 UTCI'll be honest, this movie was absolute garbage. Not even bad in an entertaining way like the Milla Jovovich movies. Only part I even remotely enjoyed was the two or three minutes they were actually fighting zombies in the mansion doing...you know...Resident Evil stuff. 2/10 absolutely horrid movie and a worse adaptation
