We got 3 episodes to catch up on, and while I’ll admit I was a tad fearful opening up those posts and counting the questions, you all have definitely taken as much of a break as I have. It’s the perfect time to talk about goals and dreams for 2022, and ways we can maybe change our Patreon so we don’t spoil you on stories that take hundreds of hours to finish. I have also, Scout’s honor, not seen our list of tiered Batman The Animated Series villains and will give it my honest assessment in today’s editorial.

I may be late for this post but i was wondering to what you said about certain spoiler modes and other content. My question is why not let just one ally do a spoiler mode or just talk about a game? Huber does do it so well with his show for example. There could be just one ally talking about the spoiler of a game or a movie. I'm all for that. You for example do it so great on your own as well. Id love just some solo content. Not always with allies.

2022-01-09 19:05:13 +0000 UTCHey Jones! With Starring Role over for the opening segment of the podcast I'm sure you've been thinking about what the new segment will be. Well if you have not chosen one yet here are a few ideas that you are welcome to use. 1. Gaming Role (working title) - Basically the opposite of starring role. So the main character(s) of a beloved video game/franchise has been deleted from the game and will be replaced with a famous character/actor from a movie. 2. Whodunit/murder mystery - A murder mystery guessing game where each panelists keep getting clues one at a time at the video game murderer like the weapon used, the location of the death, victim, etc. until one guesses the correct character. For example: victim was killed in a castle, victim was burned to death, victim wore a red hat - Bowser. 3. Gaming Gladiators Duos (working title) - Same as gaming gladiators but they are 2v2 matches 4. Date me or Date me not (working title) - Kind of like the card game "red flags". Basically you are given a potential date (a video game character) but they also have some kind of quirk or red flag. Example: Mario, but he ALWAYS forgets his wallet. Panelists choose who they would go on a date with. This one needs the most work. Anyway, just a few off the top of my head! Hope this helps!

2022-01-08 00:55:21 +0000 UTCHey Jones, from Jon (-es). You talk about a 2-dollar tier and what it can include, enter “My build”. Once pr. week, ONE Ally makes a shortish video (3-10 minutes), of showing of a game they are playing and their “build”, either character choices, strategy choices or the world they are currently inhabiting or building. This way the community can follow what the allies are playing without catching a stream, while also showing off something neat or interesting. It will garner community feedback and discussion (I would hope). My only fear would be the “your wrong!” mindset. But if advertised as casual and fun, and for only the 2 dollar Patreon tier, I think it would mitigate the worst of it. What do you think? An idea for the meeting in February perhaps 😊 L & R

Granted, my question this week will probably be answered before you get to it without you realizing it, but now that we’re getting oh so close to GOTYs, I’ve been wondering if you’ll solicit more trailer suggestions for Best Trailer via Twitter. I… uh… got 32 nominees. If you want. Just throwing it out there. Probably the Venn Diagram is almost a complete circle with the trailers that stood out to me, but still. I got suggestions.
