I would absolutely disagree with this sentiment. Movie theatres and their experiences are absolutely a worthwhile moment. Like Blood said, I can't enjoy a movie at home the way I would in a theatre. It has its own special magic and is a treat every time I get to go there.

Not to mention, everything I watch at home is on a tiny laptop. So there is no home alternative that can get close to the big screen for us. (And I still don't think a home 5.1 system really does the trick.) -Bloodworth
