2022-05-29 22:48:25 +0000 UTCCorrection @ 24:48 The split for digital versus physical on PlayStation is actually total revenue so that is sales of physical products (game discs) versus sales of digital content (digital games, dlc, micro transaction related content etc). If you look at their report here: https://www.sony.com/en/SonyInfo/IR/library/presen/er/pdf/21q4_supplement.pdf On page 9 it shows the full game download split for digital is 66% for last fiscal year. So while digital is definitely skewing higher and represents a majority it’s not anywhere near 80% for full game sales alone.

2022-05-28 00:01:12 +0000 UTCJust a suggestion: I’d recommend in the future to maybe log and time stamp things that could be viewed as (or just are) potential spoilers so listeners can avoid them in the conversations easier. Death Stranding isn’t ‘new’ but I still hadn’t gotten around to playing it. Being able to easily know when I can jump to and know I’m not missing any conversations on the headline itself would have been very welcome!
