Workout Buddies
Welcome friends, it's time to get Dawn Romantica into shape. It's up to you to submit a video game character for us to work out with each week.
I'm looking for four things in particular:
- The name of an existing video game character to train with. (If it's obscure include some context.)
- Which workout activity we'll be doing together.
- Which stat that activity will raise.
(Think strength, agility, mind, stealth, persuasion, etc. Feel free to go outside the box, but there may come a time that we'll end up combining smilar stats. EDIT: Also, please limit stat gains to +1 for a single stat. An associated -1 is cool too though.)
- And of course, our workout buddy's encouraging catch phrase.
For our first few weeks, we will most likely go with choices that are a little more traditional to set the tone. So think about gyms and physical training. Then we can go nuts a bit later.
I'm looking forward to see what madness comes next. Oh! Also, informal feedback time. Someone mentioned that Kyle used to put bits before corrections. Jones put them after. Not too sure I've decided where to put it yet, but feel free to share some thoughts.

L&R Hey allies! What’s a game that was panned upon release that you actually ended up enjoying? Playing through Saint’s Row right now, and while the current reception of the game isn’t super surprising considering how it has launched, I’m still having fun with it. Hopefully some patches fix up the rough spots! Much love and respect!

New rumor: The plan backfired due to the country, instead, obsessing over the more free spirited lifestyle of the Broodals. Fall guys are secretly sponsored by jelly beans. Real rumor: The rumor claims Jelly Belly's Bean Boozled is using subliminal marketing to increase jelly belly related searches online. Squall is dead for the second half of FF VIII Real rumor: Some believe Squall died after getting hit by the ice shard of sorceress Edea, and the rest of the game yields a surreal account of Squall's dream as he passes away. Glados is actually a bound and gagged woman Real rumor: The imagery is actually somewhat intentional. Jeremy Bennett, the game's art director said “Eventually, we settled on a huge mechanical device with a delicate robotic figure dangling out of it, which successfully conveys both GLaDOS' raw power and her femininity” Solid Snake is actually his own Dad New rumor: He was conceived on Mother Base, after Huey discovered Zanzibar Land, and performed black magic to create the ultimate soldier.
