Love & Respect Plus for Oct 14 Podcast
Added 2022-10-11 20:19:47 +0000 UTCIt's time to collect your submissions for Love & Respect and Workout Buddies for this week's Easy Allies Podcast. On the desk this week will be Brad and Huber.
Workout Buddies
Thanks for helping Dawn navigate last week's unexpected turn of events. She's recovering well and ready to get back to the gym. However, there's one important note. This will be the last week we can add a new stat to her build. After this, she'll only be focused on improving her existing stats. However, while we'll likely go with something new this week, existing stats are on the table as well. As a refresher, here is Dawn's current build.
+1 Strength
+3 Swordsmanship
+3 Flexibility
+2 Stealth
+1 Defense
-1 Speech
+1 Shapeshifting
For your submissions, I'm looking for four things in particular:
1 - The name of an existing video game character to train with. If it's obscure, please include some context.
2 - Which workout activity we'll be doing together.
3 - Our workout buddy's encouraging catch phrase.
4 - And which stat that activity will raise.
(Think strength, agility, mind, stealth, persuasion, etc. Feel free to go outside the box, but there may come a time that we'll end up combining similar stats. Please limit stat gains to +1 for a single stat. An associated -1 is cool too though.)
Love & Respect
Type your question, topic, or game in the comments below. Be sure to include your preferred name if you don't like the one here on Patreon. If your entry is not selected, feel free to submit it again the following week.
These submissions will be collected by 1 PM PT this Thursday. To make it into this week's podcast, please post before then.
We appreciate your support and are grateful for each and every submission, if we're able to include them in the podcast or not.

Hey Allies Just finished watching the latest episode of Frame Trap, amazing episode btw, and was blown away by Damiani when he spoke about the hidden boss mechanics in Super Metroid. I never knew those mechanics existed and makes me appreciate the game even more. It makes me think back to Symphony of the Night; using the Holy Glasses to fight Richter and free him from Shaft's control is one of the greatest and most satisfying boss fight moments for me. It makes me wonder, what some of your favorite boss fights or boss mechanics? L&R L.E.L (Don't know if you still need this, you said it perfectly last time, but you pronounce my name by saying each letter individually.)
