Forspoken is honestly the latest example of a game where I feel like it would be treated more harshly by the allies if Square Enix wasn't behind it. If it was some Borderlands spinoff they'd be ripping it to shreds. I do think there's things to appreciate about Forspoken, but defending the dialogue of most of the game and saying it's just clips out of context is pretty hard to take seriously. Another thing is Damiani seems VERY susceptible to motion sickness caused by games, and I'm not even normally someone who experiences this, but the way Forspoken's camera does weird zooms and stuff constantly and jerks around was making it hard for me to watch.

2023-02-10 19:24:39 +0000 UTCWeird to hear Huber sound so wound up on Forspoken. I could tell from the demo that it’s dialogue was gonna be ripped apart. If you have to have a chatter option in the settings, then you know the writing is tedious.
